Lots of people listen to music to fall asleep. As long as you can sleep with ear buds or head phones, you can just say "I need music to fall asleep" and it doesn't have to be a big deal. "And it has to be soft, soothing music" - again, nothing weird or shameful about that. Playing the music from some kind of stereo or something may present a problem, though, as many people have a hard time falling asleep with noise they're not used to.
