I've had insomnia my entire life. As a kid, Enya and Loreena McKennit were the only ways to get me to sleep. I listened to them almost every night all the way through high school (if I got sick of them, I'd swap for some soothing celtic music). The only reason I stopped when I started college was because I shared a room with other girls, and it would currently drive my husband crazy if I tried it now!
