i get a lot of my source images from uncredited places like 4chan (w/e) so if i make a post and people seem interested in the art used in an icon, i give it to them. sometimes i can recognise the artist but most times i can't, so tough luck for them i guess

at the same time, i never ask for credit, because i think it's stupid. most people credit the community anyway so it makes no sense to turn it into an obligation that the same amount of people are going to follow anyway
