What the comment was saying was that Heterophobia does exist and is more prevalent on Tumblr which is full of slashy fangirls. Fandom is different from the real world. In the real world, het is all over the place. No one bashes it. Go into fandom and it's all slash where het is the minority, hated and scarce. Am I the only one that actually read this comment?

I agree that het is a minority, often hated and scarce. Femslash is scarce too, not hated (I say this because I've never seen that), but ignored.

Sometimes I wonder if it's less heterophobia and more lack of interest in relationships that involve women.

So much of fandom is about male/male relationships, which is great in a way because it's supporting homosexuality and it's still hard to be homosexual out in the real world. I like that part about fandom.

Yet homosexuality isn't just about men, so it's not just supporting/protecting the homosexuals because there's little to no mention of women and women are also gay.

There's a really tiny amount of fic about bisexuals too. I am offtopic and need my own secret, clearly.
