OKAY.... I dont get this at all.

Do the personal opinions of these singers really have anything to do with enjoying the music?

Do you have to validate you too so the music sounds good?

i don't know about the op, but i personally have a harder time enjoying, let alone actually financially supporting, the work of notorious pedophiles/rapists/spouse abusers/racists.

everyone draws their lines in the sand at different points, these four are my personal big nonos, be they gifted entertainers, politicians or dentists.

I agree with all that.

Definitely not financially supporting someone whose acts go so much against what I believe in.

And whether I want it or not, it does color my perception of their art if I find out about such thing. Since enjoying art is very (if not only) subjective, everything I know about an artist influences the way I perceive their art.

So, I'm gonna assume that vile bands like Screwdriver are cool with you. After all, as long as you like the music, all that other stuff can just be ignored, right? And it doesn't say anything negative about their fans, right?
