It's not always about the white guys though. Do you realize what an impact it was that a WOMAN OF COLOR was the love interest in a sci-fi movie such as this? Don't be so naive to the racism that still exists in hollywood. White women can afford to be more picky about their roles because at least they have somewhat more variety. You cannot say the same for women of color and it's disingenuous to pretend it's the same.
