I don't agree that disliking a female character = definitely misogyny. It is, when the person hates female characters for being female, but it's certainly possible to dislike a character's personality without bringing gender into it.

Personally, I didn't like Uhura very much because she just...wasn't very likable to me. She's smart and pretty and good at her job, yeah, but personality-wise, she's overly snarky and seemingly unapproachable by anyone other than Spock and Gaila. I also didn't like that she was only the "love interest", rather than the badass communications officer she is (the entire romance subplot just seemed like an afterthought to me). We didn't get to see her shine at all; the only inkling we really get is her confirming the Romulan transmission, and even then her claim was validated by Spock. I'm all for her being in a relationship, but not when it comes at the cost of sacrificing her individual character development.
