As for her writing, it's laughably shallow. I feel absolutely no connection to any of her characters, and it all feels like it's "moody" in the same way a streotypical teenager is "moody"--rebelliously and with no real substance. I've sampled at least one volume of everything I can get my hands on by her, in the interest of fairness. None of it appeals to me.
And, really, I just want her out of my favorite magazine. Most of the time I can just ignore her, but not when she's on the cover every other month and she's taking up the space series I love used to have.

I don't find anything "shallow" about her writing. .__. Sure, it's kind of corny and some things are predictable but they're shoujo. Shoujos are kind of like that.

At least one volume. With Angel Sanctuary, I stuggled through five. A lot of her series are only a few volumes long. And in those cases one volume should be more than enough to allow you to connect to the characters.

I love shoujo manga. It's practically all I read. ^^;; So that's definitely not the problem.

Plus, the panel coordination? Nonexistant. It's hard to tell which panel on the page you're supposed to read when everything's so convoluted. One character's got long flowy detailed hair AND wires growing out of him AND blood spewing out of him at the same time while he's going down a tree. It's a recipe for a very dizzy head.

Despite all, I admit to liking Angel Sanctuary quite a bit, despite hte main cast being rather infuriating. Fairy Cube didn't start out too bad,but gosh, the end...Heh,if you ever feel like picking up again some of her stuff(which, I don't see why you would, but anyways), thre's only one thing I recommend:
Ludwig Kakumei/Ludwig Revolution. She doesn't take herself seriously in there,it's short, it's sort of fariytales revisited. It's one of the most enjoyable things by her I've read, and believe me I read most of what she did.
