Not a troll. Just a fan tired of this recycled character. Yes, there are those of us who don't like Cas, and we're allowed to say so.

Oh, sure you're allowed not to like him, I'm not arguing that. Just saying that 'he didn't sacrifice as much as _____ character' is such a subjective argument

and he pretty much lost everything because of them so

idk it seems such a grasping-at-straws reason. If you don't like Cas just don't like Cas. /shrug

I do wish they'd bring back Bobby or Ellen or anyone for more than a single episode though, I agree with you there. This show needs their support characters back.

But OP didn't say that 'he didn't sacrifice as much as ______ character'. OP said that all the other characters they liste meant more to the boys than Castiel did. And that he didn't do as much for them as the others. Those are very different things, IMO.

Now, I can't talk about that as I stopped watching sometime season four, but at that time at least neither of the Winchesters gave much of a damn about Cas. Actually, Dean really didn't like him, if I'm not mistaken.

Well since you stopped watching I'll just tell you, OP has some faulty reasoning in their secret. Cas did mean a lot to the boys (particularly to Dean) and they boys meant a lot to him, a lot has happened since you stopped watching and really in the past few seasons the only important characters outside of the boys have been Bobby and Castiel.

The fact that OP brings up Jo and Ellen, who had much less screentime and were overall less important, and Rufus who was more Bobby's friend then the boys... well it's just that OP doesn't like Castiel, but OP not liking the character is making them exaggerate because Castiel has been a series regular for a few years now and he really is important.

If OP doesn't like Castiel that's fine, but that doesn't change his place in the series.

Yeah, no, however anybody was feeling back in S4, he's very important to them now, especially Dean, which is something that annoys many people who don't like Cas (and are free to dislike him openly), but it's pretty explicit.
