While I don't understand the hate (for any character, really) - you really cannot say legitimately say that all those other characters have done more for the Winchesters than Cas - (except, probably, Bobby). The very first thing that Cas did was bring Dean back from the dead/hell... I don't really think that anything Jo or Ellen or Ash or any of the others have done comes close.

Hate the character all you want, for whatever ridiculous reason you have (butthurt shipper maybe?) but don't ignore/warp canon for your defense.

I was going to try to find a lighthearted pic or something to reply with but I feel like it isn't worth it (mostly because I'm feeling lazy and I don't know how much bandwidth my photobucket can handle without paying for pro).

I understand why others are unhappy he's being brought back (though I'm not one of them) and I would like to see the return of other characters as well, but the language, wording, and font used in this secret make it hard for me to take it very seriously. Sorry.

... except Ellen, Jo, Rufus, Ash, Jess, John and Mary have all had reappearances on the show following their canon death. They bring back characters all the time, and as long as it doesn't shit all over their death or take away from the weight of that, I don't really have a problem with it.

Cas had a really shitty, anti-climactic "death". Like him or not, he is a huge part of the show's canon and he has a lot of fans and he deserves a proper send off when he goes. I can understand people who don't like him being upset he's coming back, but it's not as if it's anything that out of line with what the show already does all the time. If it's any consolation, he'll probably be gone again after 3 episodes.

I am totally with you on missing the Impala, though. Baby, come back!

I stopped watching around season three, but I'm inclined to believe that OP is correct in believing that the Impala is more emotionally connected to the characters than anything else could ever be.

You're welcome to dislike whichever characters you like, but if you need to tell everyone your reasons for it, maybe get accurate ones? Seriously, Cas did and put up with a ridiculous amount of shit for them, and never actually got anything out of it. Not to discount anyone else's sacrifice, but aside from Bobby, pretty sure he did do more for them than any of the others.

So much agreement for this one! I'm sick of Castiel, just wish they would get rid of him for good. By all means, bring back ANYBODY. I mean, anybody. I would rather see any other character brought back than Castiel. Even someone that gets on my last nerve, like Bela or something. Anyone but him. Just kill him off for good already.
