(Anonymous) 2012-03-23 11:29 pm (UTC)(link)I liked about 50% of Tangled and I liked about 50% of Princess and the Frog. I also think it's okay to like the animation style and not the movie. I love the animation and the music in Princess and the Frog but I'm not a super fan of the plot/flow (too rushed, not enough Doctor Facilier, etc.). The animation in Tangled was meh but the movie was more "conventional story" so I know why people like it more - even if I thought all the songs but the first one were kind of crap and most of the movie made me roll my eyes.
Also I know the internet will disagree but seriously : Can we please not have any more sassy horses in Disney movies? SO. OLD. HAT.

Also, Pascal- IMO the characters without any spoken lines totally ran away with the movie (which I happen to think was pretty solid)
