...I think rape is worse for people who feel sexual attraction, actually. If you're asexual, it's horrible and wrong and scary and painful, but it's also minus the thought of "But what if I never want anyone else, even someone I love, to touch me again? What if I can't ever have sex without remembering this?"

Basically, being raped is traumatic, but asexuals probably don't have quite the same problem with recurring trauma.

not true. first of all, most aces are romantic. some of us even do have sex, even if we aren't sexually attracted to people (for a variety of reasons, namely to please our partner). so it affects us just as much as a sexual person.
