I liked PatF better than Tangled due to the look of the female characters in the latter, but I see so many people loving on Tangled whereas Princess and the Frog is largely forgotten it seem.

PS - How can you not like Dr. Facilier? He had all the makings of a great villain and a fantastic song.

God, I was hoping I wasn't the only one who felt this way. M-Maybe I'm just biased, but it...I don't know it kind of saddens me?

So many people are quick to jump on PaTF's flaws for some reason, while Tangled gets nothing but praise and quoting and obnoxious gifspams. I guess the tumblr Disney fandom isn't the right place to be looking, heh...

OP > I don't think Tangled was flawless. But I do think it's a superior film to PatF. I thought the story of Tangled was stronger, pacing was better, characters more likable, plus a darker and more compelling villain (I actually really like Facilier but thought that Gothel was much more interesting), and the humor funnier.

Truth be told, when I saw PatF with my friends in theaters, while they were bawling their eyes out over Ray's death, I was a bit bored by the end of it. Tangled had me invested the whole way through and especially at the edge of my seat on the last scene.

Diff strokes for diff folks, so I'm glad you liked PatF but I can't help my brain and heart that tells me Tangled was better.
