Maybe I'm misreading this, but I would think that it's less "OMG rape!" and more "OMG, being attracted to [person I'm not usually attracted to]!"

Maybe I just don't know what sex pollen is, but I take it to mean it's an aphrodisiac of sorts. This means the person under the influence would be randy and want to have sex they normally would not want to have sex with. This is worse if it goes against your typical sexual identity, as it's not just having sex under the influence, but it contradicts what may be a large part of your identity and question who you are. In the above mention it would be asexual people being randy and wanting a sexual partner. This could be even more damaging towards asexual people without a sex drive who suddenly experience one; like it or hate it.

If this were the case it would also hold true for sexual people who were made to feel attraction to people of a gender they are not normally attracted to.

Late response is late.

They might at least have the experience of what sexual attraction is and be better able to deal with it in that way. From someone going against orientation it might be: "My sexual attraction is different than it normally is" as oppose to "I suddenly have a sex drive where there was none, period."

This was my first thought when I came across that prompt. Rape didn't even cross my mind. Like, dang, that would be weird if you've never experienced sexual attraction before. At least another orientation would know what that felt like. (even if it would be weird/uncomfortable to be attracted to a sex/gender that you usually weren't) Either way, prompting something as 'worse' was always probably a wrong word choice. 'Different' probably would have been a little better.

(is it really asexual of me to not have even considered sex as a thing that would happen in a fill to that prompt? Like, in my head, it was all feelings and the asexual character being 'How odd. Is this what you feel sometimes, non-ace character? It's weird! Why do I want you to take your shirt off?' And now that I think about it more, if the sex pollen would only increase libido, and the asexual still wouldn't be sexually attracted to anyone, it would just end in an epic masturbation session. Which... I guess could be terrible...)

I saw a prompt once that was basically the group of teenaged protagonists get hit with a sex pollen which makes it impossible not to act on your attraction as opposed to inducing attraction.

IIRC the ace character was obviously not affected and spent the time running around shoving condoms and bottled water at his friends (after having realized that he wasn't actually capable of separating all of them) and keeping the 13 year old away from the others.
