Fandoms: Primarily anime/manga. At the moment, I'm (oh, so slowly) working on fics for Tangled (Flynn/Rapunzel), Gundam Wing (Heero/Relena, Duo/Hilde, gen), Ranma 1/2 (Ranma/Akane), Inuyasha (Inuyasha/Kagome, Miroku/Sango), Samurai Champloo (threesome!), and the Wallflower (Kyohei/Sunako). I've been out of fandom for awhile because of grad school, so I'm basically stuck in a time warp and haven't caught up with everything that is new and shiny. (Recs for amazing things in the last 5 years would be appreciated! LOL) I am watching Moretsu Pirates aka Bodacious Space Pirates now and loving it.
What in fandom interests me: I am a shipper. I like to think of myself as a tolerant shipper (you do your thing; I do mine; occasionally the squees shall meet), but I do like to study relationships and speculate on what might be. Most of my fic is romance. I've posted only het work so far, but my pairing preferences aren't restricted to het only. I tend to be more interested in female characters than male, and it often seems like I like the female characters that other people don't. I like humor and a little bit of ridiculousness, because I have a serious job and I need to unwind. I also really miss the sense of community that I used to have back in my fandoms in their heyday. ::insert old crone stick shaking here::
What in fandom does NOT interest me: Roleplay. I'm also not into drama or ship wars or anything really unpleasant. I don't have the time to have anything less than fun in fandom. I'm typically happy to read meta-analysis, but I don't post much, if any, of it myself.
Major Non-fandom Interests: Animals; I attend dog and horse shows when I'm able and have volunteered with humane societies in the past. Books; I'm willing to try the first 50 or so pages of anything, but I do go back to genre fiction (fantasy, romance) and young adult literature pretty regularly. Art; I like creativity and pretty things. Theater; This year I got season tickets to the Broadway series in my town and it has been amazing. Things related to work, which is to say psychology, counseling, training, etc.
My LJ Contains Mostly: Fic posting, reading lists and some book reviews, posts to neat art or videos, pet picture spams, general fandom rambling/enthusiasm, other random things that interest me, bits about my boring daily life.

lol My mom breeds beagles so she's not exactly into high-maintenance dogs. But I agree about furry eye candy. I've always wanted a Siberian Husky. :)
