That and most of my friends aren't religious or have different beliefs, so I tend to feel like I'm forcing things on them if I post about my religion... my friends are usually very nice, sometimes curious, respectful and supportive, though!
I've gotten into a lot of arguments where I've had to defend against attacks on my beliefs here, which is why I avoided the community for a while. I love how any and all mentions of my religion eventually lead to calling the prophet of my religion a pedophile, despite RADICALLY DIFFERENT cultural norms between now and 1400 years ago. Different cultural norms that existed in many places aside from ancient Arabia. And everybody neglects mentioning that his first wife, who he had a monogamous relationship with 'til her death, was about 25 years his senior.
I wonder if that's better or worse than the time I got called the n word by a random anon here.

-hugs- Aww, thanks so much. ^///^;
It's not too bad! It could be so much worse. At least it's just a few folks flinging insults and accusations over the internet.
