Idk. It depends on what GRRM is planning on doing with Lady Stoneheart, but right now I don't know how to feel about it. Right now it's just like, Cat is not fully dead so she can't achieve peace. She's alive, but she's also not herself. It's incredibly unsettling.

I found Robb a little boring but I often wonder if that's because I never felt like I got to know him properly. He had no POV so that probably didn't help. Still, my boyfriend and I like the Starks so I'm upset about what has happened to their house. My boyfriend hasn't got that far yet. He's only up to Theon taking Winterfell and I am having to keep quiet cos every time he says anything about it I'm just thinking oh you, it gets SO MUCH WORSE for the Starks!

I have a love/hate thing with Cat's POV chapters.

It was more of a "Jesus Christ, GRRM! I mean, I know you've been pretty ruthless before, but... damn!"

I felt the worst for Arya. She was so close to getting to her mom and her brother and then that happened... it's just not right.

I felt more sorry for Arya (and Sansa) than I did for Robb and Catlyn. Probably because dead characters are dead (usually), but it's the living ones who have to go on without them.

The Red Wedding didn't bother me either. I didn't cheer when Robb and Cat died or anything, but I did think it was a neat plot twist in general. (I mean, yes, I expected Frey to stab some people in the back because he's just like that... but I didn't expect him to kill everyone.)

Yeah...I liked Cat and Robb fine but someone had tipped me off beforehand that some huge, character-killing event was coming - and I was mostly relieved it didn't affect any of my actual favorite characters. The worst part for me was hands down the Arya-fakeout at the end. I completely fell for that.

It's one of the best, most intense scenes in the books, however, and I will say that I think Cat's death is the most epic and heartbreaking in the series for me. Her (understandably) going off the deep end, clawing her eyes out, and laughing...totally unforgettable. Which makes her return a little "Eh," for me, though I don't exactly mind her going around hanging Freys.

EDIT: With all these cruel ASOIAF discussions, I somehow feel the need to point out that I'm a pacifist, and that I don't condone killing anyone. >.> But man, those Freys.

That part was devastating for me. Robb was one of my favourite characters. I like the characters who try hard to do the right thing even when the entire universe seems to be working against you. I knew he was going to die because my sister gave me a look when I told her I liked him, but I didn't expect it to be that bad. Catelyn or someone better take out Walder Frey soon.

Frankly I'd be pleased if Walder Frey died of a massive coronary because it would piss off all the readers be totally anticlimactic.

Yeah I thought it was tragic in the story and Catelyn's pov destroyed me, but all in all I wasn't that devastated about their deaths - I never cared about Robb and I had been spoilt about Stoneheart beforehand hahaa. I have a feeling seeing it happen live will totally gut me though 8(
