You've never been plagierised and have never had to fight to get it removed from ff.net. I most definately not a fandom hipster.

My fic was plagiarised and ff.net removed it pretty fast. But maybe that was because I was really well known in that fandom and there was a dozen people who emailed ff.net about it.

Three other people and I had a total of 54 fictions plagiarised. It took them six months, emails once a week, and emails from the tree others plus the folks from stop -plagiarism to get something done. Mind you, mine were nc - 17 fics and they all were rpf. You'd think once some one reported that it would have been taken care of. The fics were taken from my permanent account, which has always been friends locked. The website still sucks donkey butt.

This! People think that the only problem people have with the pit is badfic, but it extends beyond that. Plagerism is rife and nobody seems to do anything about it and even when something is done about it the person doing the plagerising doesn't really learn from it or even see why its a bad thing.

I have. And I STILL prefer ff.net. But then my issue got resolved.
