You should listen to Skillet. I like Skillet and their songs can totally be interpreted like this. "Whispers in the Dark"? Hot dang son.

Yeah, they are. It's okay though; you can't really tell unless you're listening for it. That's how I convinced my parents to buy me one of their CDs. :P

I was shocked. I didn't realize it until I heard "looking for angels" or whatever that song is called. It's not really present in Monster or Hero, the two songs of theirs I really know.

Seconding both the band and the song rec. Skillet is awesome!

They are also fantastic in concert, by the way. I had the chance to see them during a worship roadshow, and the entry fee was one of the best $10 I've ever spent.

Oh man, yeah! I like what I've heard of Skillet on my pandora. It's only been 2 or 3 songs though. Realizing they were Christian rock was really weird for me; I kinda feel awkward as an agnostic person listening to it. You know just... that it isn't meant for me. Also how it changes the meaning of "Hero."
