Blemishes can be awesome. Guys with flawless skin often look girly and unattractive to me. Some little marks -- freckles, moles, little birthmarks, etc, make them look so much better. I think it brings out their features, draws attention to certain areas of their face and deflects it from others. If nothing else, it makes them look unique and memorable.
Also, I think freckly girls are absolutely beautiful. The kind that gingers have, y'know? Freckles complement the roundness of general female facial shapes so, so well.
