People say that? They must've been watching a different movie from me. She wasn't my favoriteyest bit, but she was hardly useless, and definitely not boring. Heck, her character bits with Hawkeye, which weren't actually plot-necessary and could have arguably been dropped without irreparably damaging the final product, were compelling and interesting and great character moments in a largely action film. They helped to humanize a lot of characters that the audience just wouldn't have cared about much otherwise. And without her...
