Since I know someone who walked out an hour into the movie because he had somehow avoided seeing the previous other 5 movies in this universe (or knew the characters despite being into other Marvel comics) , I think anything is possible.

For myself, I went because I'm a Captain fan first and foremost, but I left in love with Black Widow. Reading that she's going to have her own movie that could include Hawkeye and SHIELD background, I'm so fucking excited. I want this, I want more of her backstory, because even though she wasn't terrible in IM2, they developed her so well in the Avengers and now I want more.


Also, Bill Maher made a silly joke about the Avengers on his show last night, with it ending up cringe-worthy for me when he questioned why two of them needed to be "a guy with a bow and arrow, and a chick with big tits and a gun", but I sort of expected it from him at least, lol.

Ew, it's not like her costume was baring a lot of skin or there were any T&A shots. I know he's a comedian so whatever, but still, unnecessary.

Yeah, it was definitely unnecessary. He could have left the joke as it was before he threw in that bit. He can be pretty gross when it comes to women, so it just wasn't surprising when I saw where he was going with it.
