just because a female character can kick ass doesn't make her a good character?
she has no personality and her whole character is based on the fact that she is the sole female character who is good at hand to hand combat.
she doesn't try to become of the team either, all she tries to do is her job with a side of 'i owe hawkeye something because we worked together'.

You're either a troll or a sexist idiot, I can't figure out which.

She becomes a team player right around the time everyone else does dude

She isn't one the whole way through but no one is, the fact that they have to be a team and work together despite their wildly different beliefs and agendas is kind of the point of the movie (besides Hulk punching things)

I had just hoped that she would interact with other people as well apart from Clint. More comments towards Tony would be nice since you guys have interacted before. It's frustrating because all the other characters somewhat had a back plot or reasons to be involved,
iron man and hulk: science and technology
captain america: see how he battles in 21st century and you can see his struggle with modern warefare
thor: well it's his brother
hawkeye: he protected the thing and was under the Loki's magic for a while
black widow: to save clint and then manipulates Loki, but we still don't see who Natasha is, Clint in many ways also falls in that category.

maybe it's the feeling of Iron Man 2 rubbing off/they could have chosen a better comic book character.

IDK. I thought her interactions with Bruce were pretty great.

Her character comes off to me as a bit of a loner type who is all about the job. I think it would have been out of character for her to actively try to form relationships with the other characters early on. She talks to Clint (and Coulson) because she has know them for years. Her being open with strangers would be like Nick Fury telling people about his childhood.

Well, new movie on the way. Hopefully we'll see her interact with a few more of her team mates.
