I agree with luna, the position sounds more like your lymph knot but as tempting as it is to self-diagnose via the Internet I wouldn't take what you find too seriously. Your symptoms are generic enough to give you results from problems with your thyroid gland to having cancer.
And just because certain symptoms point to one thing doesn't mean you have it, sometimes different things play into it. For example I have all the symptoms for an underactive thyroid gland but my thyroid functions perfectly. So yeah, what I'm trying to say is: Don't let yourself get freaked out by the Internet. I can't imagine how scared you have to be and I wish you all the best *hugs*

And most of all: Never, ever feel bad for being sick. I'm not sure if it's any consolation but even a lot of people in countries with a good health care system feel bad for being sick. *hugs again*

I'm not sure how expensive over the counter medicine is where you live but did you ever ask a pharmacist if they have something that could help you?
