TBH, I thought most of the relationship stuff in Korra was because Korra's been really isolated her whole life, so almost all the different types of relationships are new to her, romance included.

...This makes so much sense.

Thanks! I was thinking about it, and I realized that Korra probably hasn't had a lot of contact with anyone outside of the Order of the White Lotus, Katara, and Tenzin and his family, so everything that happens to her is going to be amped up, because it could literally be the first time she's ever had a chance to feel that way.
