1. Considering in recent days I've rekindled a certain love for some Disney films from my childhood, I totally agree.

11. She spams communities? I always thought her stuff was cute and she likes CidxVincent.

24. With Amano it's kind of dependent on what he's drawing. I dislike some of his artwork, however there's such a unique quality to some of it. It's so fluid and dream-like and yet strangely detailed at the same time. In a world of art that all too often looks similar, Amano's kind of a breath of fresh air.

I won't say it's the same for me, but roleplaying as him had a pretty big impact on me too. :] Made me into a better person.

1. OH GOD. I'm seventeen and I still thing Aladdin's the hottest thing since Adonis. XDD I've had a crush on him since I first saw the movie back when I was a SMALL, SMALL CHILD.

3. My favourite show is on Nickelodeon (or however that's spelled). XD But even though I'm old and my sister makes fun of me for it, I'm totally not ashamed.

24. I used to really, really hate Amano's art too, but the more I began to look at it at an artistic point of view, the more beautiful the art became. Of course, Nomura > Amano at the character designing, but Amano's fairies, backgrounds, colours and costumes are so beautiful. XD;;

17. I never thought about Ouran and all it's great controversy until people started making secrets about it. .____. I suppose it is a bit sexist, but lots of anime is.

24 - I wish I didn't agree, but I do. :( Some of his stuff I like, but most of it I just don't.

Thankfully I discovered (through my fandom) the character designer Yoji Shinkawa, who's heavily influenced by Amano but does it right. His men don't have lipstick. His women don't have gigantic hands which curve like crescents at the back. But he has the same lightness of touch and general squiggliness that Shinkawa has, which I find appealing.

*prods icon* He drew that, for a start.

17. Hahaha. Maybe you should introduce your friend to shoujo manga/anime that ARE actually sexist, creepy, and disturbing. Honey X Honey Drops, for example, has sexual assault/attempted rape, slavery, and physical abuse presented in such a way that they are supposed to titillate the reader/viewer. A little Ouran never hurt anybody!

It is sexist, but creepy and disturbing? No way in hell. It's a romp, ~~and this is coming from the person who thinks it contains homophobia...~~ and I do enjoy it.
