I feel your pain.

She'll grow out if it - she won't stop being a yaoi fan, but she will gradually stop talking about it less and less as she grows older, because wisdom comes with age. Okay, I finally have to ask someone this.

Right, so if you're female: the big, phallus sized part is supposed to go into your vagina (insertion). The nub at the front of the dildo (the second largest one) is meant to stimulate your clit, and the third one, usually shaped like a finger, is for your back area / anus. It's designed to be thin/small so it won't hurt.
These types of vibrators are commonly known as Triple Area vibrators; they're very similar to Rabbit vibrators (rabbit vibrators don't have the anal stimulator).
