I find it annoying when people prejudge something that doesn't even exist one way or another. I'm definitely putting Elementary on my to-watch list, but until it comes out and proves itself, I'm not going to make any judgement about if it's a great or terrible.

However, I like the stans more than the haters. Even if both are talking out of their hats, it's much less annoying to watch someone be happy about something they are looking forward to than to listen to someone badmouth things they don't know anything about and don't have to be involved with.

On your second point, definitely. So much nicer to see people liking things instead of hating them for no reason? It's more acceptable to like things for "no reason" than to hate.

Word. Tom Servo from Mystery Science Theater 3000 said it best, "I just think they're neat, is all."

Oh I agree. It's cool to see people excited about it. I'm mainly referring to people I've seen who have been obnoxious about it and constantly bash Sherlock. Like, I know Sherlock has its problems, but there's no denying it's a very well done adaptation, and there's no guarantee Elementary won't have it's own set of issues.
