That's stupid. I think the scenario described in the secret is pretty damn goofy and don't fault OP for not being able to get into it, but it's not because fat people should only identify with fat people and stick with their own kind or else they're self-hating fatties.

And even if they are, why tell someone who's morbidly obese that they're bad for not being happy about it?
