I swear, if Lucy Liu were playing Holmes and Jonny Lee Miller playing Watson, I would be LITERALLY BARFING RAINBOWS for how excited I'd be about this show

as-is it just seems basic. (omg you don't say, a show about a Brilliant But Assholish White Guy and his Female ~With Heart~ Sidekick. Stop the presses!) Also, there are NO WORDS for how pressed I am that now that Watson is a lady for the first time ever, she doesn't get to be a veteran. Well done indeed

I'll watch the first episode and see if it strikes a chord because especially with these preemptive strikes against it, if it still resonates with me that would be SUPER AWESOME. But ya know. =/
