1) Forced relationship/flirting between Joan and Sherlock that turns the focus of the show from crimes to the "growing romance" between them. I don't mind romance in a crime show but I don't like it if suddenly everything becomes about the UST between them, if I wanted this I'd watch romantic shows.

2) Screwing the character of Watson by making Joan weak and throwing stereotypes our way. I don't mind her being an emotional character but in TV emotional characters often mean breaking down crying every five minutes etc.

3) Horrible british accent :P

I'm sure there are more reasons to be sceptical those are just the things I came up with by watching the preview. I'm definitely going to give the show a chance but I'm gonna stay sceptical because there is always a possibility for screw-up no matter who is making the show.

How is his accent horrible? Jonny Lee Miller is English.

In that case I take that one back, I'm not a native speaker and don't really have a clue about different accents. Depending on which other characters are supposed to be from the UK/which actors play them, the statement still stands.

Nevermind that it was more a joke than a serious concern, I watch Grimm with it's fake-german so I don't think a wrong accent would bother me even if I had a good ear for them.
