If something other than SuzaLulu becomes canon...?

An anime with the fanbase of Code Geass probably won't pander to the bl fans more than the occassional official art.

I never thought there was that many SuzaLulu hints in canon, either, to be honest? I mean, there's some, sure, but there's also some LelouchxCC and LelouchxKallen hints, and some SuzakuxEuphie... I mean, I thought this show was something of a shipping buffet. And while some are more valid than others, I think it's weird how many people seem to think that SuzaLulu is the LOLZCANON of the show.

11. You might have to ask specifically for concrit. Most people read for fun, not for beta purposes. I'm fairly sure you can find a one-time beta for fic that needs going over. Hell, I'm doing that for a friend of mine now (although the fic has grown far beyond what both of us thought it'd be).

I actually agree with 22 - Kira wanted to be God, and from a non-religious stance, a deity is something that is worshipped in the manner that he was, that hands out judgement or favours. One of the things I loved most about Death Note was the part nearer the end where Kira was so idolized.

As for 20... see 22. Really. There is a megachurch in my city that wants people too afraid of hell to do bad things. Death Note had a really good understanding of people - just like how in the comic, there was (at first) an internet following of strange people who thought that Kira's ideas were good... so has the fandom mimicked that. The fandom has proven the way that the writer of Death Note said people would react to an idea like Light's.

22. All I've read of DN is the first four volumes, but I still made the same comparison in my head, without the listed comparisons. I'm nervous about reading the rest because I've had the big death spoiled for me and don't think it'll be as much fun reading and knowning who's kicking it eventually.

22. It's scary, but true. However, I do agree with both you and #20. Dictators may be effective if you agree with them, or are higher up in the social ladder, but I'd be terrified of Kira.

21. Yeah, I hate, hate hatehatehatehate the massive FF7 influence the fandom has on Kingdom Hearts. Tifa's awesome (now that i've grown up and can actually see the characters for who they are), but I would really kill for some FF9 characters, we have enough FF7 ones in KH. :(

Not!Secret 1: I agree with what you're saying, but not how you're saying it. In the Tales Fandom, whenever I would get into a fight about names, I would just use their Katakana/Hirigana/Kanji names. (But I'm too much of a pussy to do that often XD)

Too Big 1: I AGREE I AGREE I AGREE. I don't even like Phoenix/Miles that much, but I just can't stand Phoenix/Maya. It just feels like incest. ;_; (even the semi-sibling relationship of Miles/Franziska doesn't squick me, I actually like that pairing, but Maya/Nick? Nooooo D: )
