This, basically.
The line 'I can do better' always makes me wish I got the money, power and clout to go 'Okay. Here's your money. Here's your crew. Here's your tools. Go ahead and show us how much better you could do it.'
Hell, you don't even need all that to show us a script.

Yeah no, if I had the reasource to do this, I woudn't waste them. Rather, I'd actually give the person the proof I had them. Then tell them that script was due by the end of the week.

Unless it turns out they weren't full of shit, I'd burn the script on a pile of money while informing them it was a better use of the cash then giving it to them.

That's how you waste reasources like A BOSS!
