In case people didn't see this (because buried on page 3 of the post)- for people who don't like the basic site style of DW and want to change it, here are links collated by majorshipper to make it look better.

Most of them were covered in that comment, but this is a link to all the Stylish userstyles for Dreamwdith (the custom icons in particular are pretty nice) and if you're interested in more then these are the userscripts that exist. You'll need Greasemonkey to use them in Firefox, but they should be easy to install with no other extentions for Chrome.

As for journal styles, for people with new ones, Dreamwidth layouts aren't bad but they are admittedly pretty limited. Again for people who are interested in setting up stuff but don't know how / haven't seen it, here's a tutorial on how to implement Livejournal layouts into Dreamwidth with Layers so that you can use the same layouts that you had there. It works pretty well!

More resources for general purposes were also collected by vickyblueeyez in this comment, so do check that out if you haven't yet.

Kenny-fucking-Powers is on F!S. Anyway, I love the show and I love Kenny Powers and yeah, he's basically a shithead. He certainly isn't an ideal guy to be attracted to.
But I don't blame you for crushing on him after you had a dream of him. I had a short crush on the rapper Drake when I had a dream that he and I had sex, even though I really, really despise Drake's music and before the dream I didn't think much of him. After a month, it was back to finding his personality and music really lame.

and if you're involved in a mod capacity (which it sounds like) then if anything you wouldn't be as biased around conflicts as somebody else might be, which i'd prefer if i were a member.

I really don't understand why people find RPF creepy. Every single person I've ever known has, at one point or another, fantasized about a celebrity, either sexual fantasies or just plain "X and I go out and do amazing things together and become best friends." I have never known a single person who hasn't had some sort of daydream about a celebrity (not saying they don't exist, just that none of them are in my circle of family and friends). The only difference between that and the RPF writers is that the RPF writers write down their daydreams. How does the act of writing these things down suddenly make something that almost everyone does unendingly creepy?

This is a pretty good guide to LJRP, it's a bit old, but most of it is still relative.

Although, since the whole drama about the comment change back in... winter? a lot of the LJRP community moved over here to dreamwidth. This is guide that shows the difference between DW and LJ.

I liked them both. MIB III still wasn't right up there with the original but personally I felt it made up for the second film. Also don't care if it was obvious, the end made me tear up. For me it felt like I had some closure for a much loved film from my later childhood.

I wouldn't make fun of you OP. I prefer The Avengers but we don't want the same things from films, right?
