I'm really shy around authors that I like. I always hope they'll see that I fav'd their story and be really happy but I guess you can't please everyone. :\

I love getting faves and watches in my inbox. They're basically the equivalent to "I liked it" or "good job" reviews to me. They remind me that people are still enjoying my stories, so maybe I should try to write more. So I think you should keep it up!

If I had any stories actually posted, I would feel the same way! And don't worry, I plan to. I'm glad it encourages you to write more.

I should also add that the stories in my favorites are ones I go back and read over and over. And if I rec it on AO3 that means I think the author deserves a ton of recognition and everyone should read it over and over.
