Iiii kind of have this problem. I feel like I either need to leave a long review or not say anything at all, which is kind of dumb, but there you go. I'm trying to get better at leaving reviews on everything, though.

I'm the same way, it actually make me appreciate faves, alerts, and kudos more. I just figure it's someone like me, who liked my fic but has no idea what to say.

Oh, me too. It's a problem for me; I don't read as many reviews as I should, because I feel badly leaving a short "I liked this fic!"

I'm like this too. But then if my review gets too long I worry that I'm just being overly nitpicky or analysing stuff too closely, so I just delete it and end up not saying anything anyway. -_-

Me too! It doesn't help that I've seen people (admittedly not many, but with an anxiety disorder, seeing it happen at all has my brain all frantic) get pissy because people didn't leave more than "I liked this, thanks" as a review. I think there was actually someone awhile back that submitted a secret here that basically said "If you leave me a one-line reply instead of a detailed constructive crit, I RESENT YOU". -_-

I do too. If I have something constructive to say, I can usually get over my social anxiety long enough to leave a review. But if all I have to say is "I liked it", especially on a longer fic? There is no way I will review, because I'm worried that the author will get mad at me for leaving a one line review. Not like they could do much, other than leave a snarky response to my review, but even that is enough to send me into a spiral of self-hate on bad days.

Same. And I actually prefer a fave than a "Oh I liked this" type of comment, because it makes me feel that they really liked it enough to put it on their favourites. If they say "I liked this" it's like they're just doing it because they feel the need to review everything they read.

But yeah, I like the long reviews the best and I usually leave them when I really liked a story.
