Ugh, DW is so ugly. :/

I mean, I don't mind the move, but I'm going to have to get used to this ugly-ass gray/red color scheme. They should have just copied L J's color scheme.

There are ways to change the color scheme. I chose the purple one, which isn't much better but I personally cannot stand pink/red combos. Ugh.

Try using the stuff the first sock person linked above. I have it looking like old LJ with the non-gradient blue & white.

Confession: I fail at understanding GreaseMonkey.

I'll probably give it another go later tonight, but it's pretty embarrassing how much I fail at understanding a very simple program.

(Anonymous) 2012-06-02 08:27 pm (UTC)(link)
You don't have to understand it. I don't understand it either. All you do is install it and Stylish installed.

http://rainfall.dreamwidth.org/57185.html Follow this, it was easy and simple for me.

[personal profile] unicornherds 2012-06-02 08:52 pm (UTC)(link)
Okay, with your words of encouragement I went for it. And...it worked! Thanks!

(Anonymous) 2012-06-02 08:54 pm (UTC)(link)
Lol, I don't know a thing about how greasemonkey works, people tell me to click the shiny buttons and I do then things change

I noticed that sometimes you get flashes of the original colors before the style thing covers it up for you but it's still p. fast

(Anonymous) 2012-06-02 11:53 pm (UTC)(link)
You mean the boring-ass blue and white one that's as old as dirt? Ugh, no thanks. I like that Dreamwidth at least made an attempt to look different instead of being an exact clone.
