I've been active in fandom for years, and I am so tired of fan fic writers who insist they should be given a piece of feedback for any story they write. Professional writers don't get that luxury of feedback from the masses. If they're lucky, the book reviews are kind and sales are steady. If you think the number of books sold should be enough to make them happy, then why should you be ungrateful discontent with what you get?

So Dear Anon, I put another question to you; should the feedback be assigned a pro rata scale, so we know how much would be appropriate for a drabble, 5000 words or 100K? Also should all feedback be of the more positive nature, 'cause we don't want to hurt your ego any more than it has been by the unthinking, uncaring actions of those who only add your fic to a watch list or to the 'favourite' list.
