And I thought nothing was worse than "I won't post the next chapter if I don't get X reviews!!!1!"

Solution: Post an author's note at the beginning letting the readers know that you find a "mere" favorite, rec, or short "It was good" review unacceptable and that you only want wordy, detailed reviews, so that the ones who aren't expert wordsmiths know to skip your stuff entirely. Problem solved.

(Apparently I've been doing it wrong all these years, writing for the fun of it and for others to enjoy instead of writing for reviews.)
