I always thought of myself as a Ravenclaw...but I ended up in Gryffindor. Wasn't too happy. D:

Ditto, Anon. In fact, of all the houses, Gryffindor is the one I felt least likely to get into/identified with. I don't think I would have played long regardless, but that was the nail in the coffin.

I figured, even if I wasn't a Ravenclaw, I would at least be, idk, a Hufflepuff or something. I haven't played since I was Sorted, but it was weird... I don't think I'm a Gryffindor at all.

Your house doesn't come much into things after the Sorting. It's just for house points, but the story isn't affected.

Also, it seems like the plurality is y'all's diametric opposites. I keep hearing about all these people who retake the test with different email accounts just to get Sorted to Gryffindor.

...Granted, I did try to game the test a bit, but some of those questions are really hard to gauge which way they'll send you, (Sorting Hat: "Which of these creatures would you prefer to do an extended study on?" Me: "Bzuh?!?"), so ultimately IDK how one gets into one's preferred house.

I didn't stop playing specifically because I got into Gryffindor, just haven't been bothered since. Wow, that's a little extreme! A lot of effort just for an online game! XD

I answered the questions honestly, too. XP

I was surprised when I got Gryffindor the second time I tried (our of curiosity). I got Slytherin the first time and kind of expected it although I ID'ed as a raven claw beforehand. I guess now that I think about it, maybe..? lol. Gryffs and Slyths are supposed to to be similar, right?

I always thought of myself as a Slytherin, and I got into Gryffindor. Part of me wonders if Gryffindor is the default.

I can definitely say in my case Gryffindor wasn't the default. I was one of the beta testers and managed to get myself seven accounts (magic number lulz), and when I went to give the extras away to people who hadn't been able to get one there were only three people interested.

So OBVIOUSLY I had to do the logical thing and use the four remaining accounts to get sorted into ALL THE HOUSES.

I succeeded, too. But Gryffindor was the last house I managed to get sorted into. And that one was a close call, I was actually hatstalled between Gryffindor and Slytherin at the end of that sorting.
