Why can't I track individual threads? That open is grayed out and all I can do is track the whole post :(

Did you do that on livejournal? Because I thought LJ only tracked individual comment threads if you had a payed account, and that's not going to carry over, I don't think. ^^;

I don't know if it would help or not, but I just have a little folder on my 'net where I add each secret/day, and just visit them from there. I don't know if that would be useful, though... :(

Ignore me if this is stupid/weird but I've seen this paid/payed spelling before and have been wondering what country or region is the 'payed' spelling variation from? Or is it just a personal taste kind of thing? Or have I just been spelling it wrong?

I've only ever seen it as "paid", until now.

...Hm, a quick glance at wiktionary says that "payed" is an archaic form:

I've always learned it as "paid", and "payed" is being tagged by spell check as incorrect for me while on Microsoft word, but not while I'm typing this comment, so I'd guess that it's correct online, but not in word documents? I'm not sure, I've never actually thought about it...

I know your pain, anon! I had a perm account on LJ. I've gotten so used to notes and individual thread tracks. When the kink meme for my fandom moves over, I'm going to be done with it - it's impossible to keep checking when something is updated sometimes months later. For f_s, though, I'll probably still come to read secrets, though won't get into nearly as many conversations.

It still works with paid accounts here, though. It can't be much consolation for somebody with a permanent account on LJ, but for people who're in a position to switch over, there's no need to lose functionality.
