I'm excited for this show and the conversations it may start. I hope it doesn't suck.

I'm still not sure. I'm a Sorkin fangirl, but none of the trailers I've seen have got me fired up. I did read some info the other day that sounded interesting, but it would depend on how it was handled. What really worries me is the clash in world views. Sorkin's work tends to have a certain kind of idealism where people are ultimately trying their best to do good things. HBO is much more cynical.

I wish I'd discovered the brilliance that is Sorkin before my GCSEs - TWW completely transformed my ability to form a rational argument by looking at something from multiple points of view. I can't wait for The Newsroom.
