Just curious - why do you really want to know? I mean, they are indeed awesome and stuff, but is there something especially appealing about this secret/image?

I'm not entirely sure myself - I guess they look awesome and I like that it's black/white (which is rather stupid I guess, every 11-year-old facebooker knows how to turn a picture grey and then calls herself a "photographer", but I still really like it). I love that he is wearing a suit and the fact that they're looking somewhere else makes me curious as well.

Also, the word "skeeviness" just has a sort of unexplainable appeal in my opinion.

It just looks like something I might enjoy and that's what we're all really looking for in everything, right?

Hehe, it is! I hope you do check it out and like it. And I wish Fringe pics had that effect on more people because that show needs/ed more viewers.

I always liked the idea of Alt!Linc and Fauxlivia together and I really enjoyed the sweet dynamic between Agt. Lee and Olivia. I'm still sussing out how I feel about these two though, based on what I've read happens. (Of course, watching the rest of the season might help. :p)

I liked Alt!Lincoln and Fauxlivia a LOT, and I don't think that Blueverse!Lincoln/Fauxlivia is quite the same thing. But I'll take it. I didn't like Blueverse!Lincoln/Ourlivia and was kind of annoyed that the show shipteased them a bit before going back to Peter/Olivia which was always going to be the OTP.

Season 4 was messy in places, but overall, I did enjoy it, so... idk.

'course, I wrote these two when they didn't even yet exist and have a multi-shipping circle of fellow Fringe fans.

!!! Oh my god, Fringe secret! This is an exciting day indeed!

And OP, you're not alone! Out of all the potential Lincoln/Olivia combinations, this is the one I was least expecting to become canon, but I was pleasantly surprised with how much I loved it. They have a great rapport and despite the fucked-up-ness of their situation, they're just really really sweet together! (something about the red/blue dynamic always seems to work out well — see Olivia & Peter) Anna Torv & Seth Gabel are big fans of the pairing too. They were a little rushed but they were one of my favorite and totally unexpected things to come out of S4.

I think that I love all the characters very much, and enough to be happy about all manners of combinations as long as they're happy. So I'm fine with that secret!

Lincoln/Olivia is the only pairing I've ever really cared about in Fringe. Any incarnation of them, really, but especially blue!Lincoln/red!Olivia. So much interesting potential, and the potential angst and skeeviness just makes it more appealing to me.

And dammit, this reminds me of a WIP I have on the back burner. Hope I get a chance to work on that more, soon.

This is basically me. I mean, I know Peter/Olivia is the show's OTP of Ultimate Destiny and all, so I've never really felt motivated to really explore it. I really liked the Lincoln/Olivoa dynamic in early S4, even though fans did one hell of a job bitching about it. I thought it was sweet. Blue!Lincoln/Red!Olivia I think, would have hella issues - and I think that would be super interesting to explore.
