Man oh man am I behind in KH because none of this made any sense to me. Though I am chuckling a little at Sora failing some important test to become a keyblade master. The shit you went through Sora...

MORE SO OF ABOVE.

Alright. Kingdom Hearts 2->KHBBS. So, you find out Xehanort was actually an old man. He ends up taking over another keyblade master's body, a man named Terra. This is the form you see as Ansem/Xemnas. Back then Yen Sid trained people to become keybladde wielders/masters, etc.

Flash-forward to Dreep Drop Distance. Sora and Riku are given a test by Yen Sid. Sora ends up failing...(If you don't know how Ventus is, well, it's kind of convoluted, lets just say "armor inside his heart" saved him, 'nough said LOL) Riku passes, and Sora goes to train. However Xehanort escapes and has copies/clones of himself. Soooooo, to fight this new threat they need more keybladers. Thus Yen Sid asks Riku to bring Kairi to him. Oh, and Axel makes a return, but as his original self Lea.

Ventus, btw, was another keyblader, and friend of Terra. The remains of his heart were in Sora, so Roxas looks like Ven, instead of Sora, because he was created with Ven's heart as well....It's gotten so complicated, haha.

Anon? You are an amazing person for explaining this to me. (Totes didn't expect you to, and now I feel bad that you went to the trouble! How did you keep all of this straight? Did you wiki it? Is your memory just that good, or are you that dedicated of a KH fan? Either way I'm impressed.)

Know that I still didn't properly understand the majority of that, but at least it was amusing to read.

I've been into the series since my teen years, so I try to keep up with the series as best I can. Even though it has become very complicated! (I left out the bits about Vanitas, because that is very confusing-Imagine a black haired Sora who for some reason is the manifestation of the darkness in Ven's heart...and looks like Sora. Long before Ven's heart is placed inside child!Sora)

...but I still can't get over Axel's real name really being Lea. Was original!Axel actually a lady, or...?
