Yeah, agreed. Kishimoto is still fairly good at creating characters; I really like(d) Hidan and Kakuzu, and Team Hebi is a fantastic mockery of his own fanbase (even if Suigetsu annoys the crap out of me), but the actual plotting itself is absolutely horrible, and Kishimoto seems to have forgotten how to write a fight scene well, which used to be his biggest strength.

Plus, he ruined Kabuto. I will never forgive him for ruining Kabuto.

I think it's becoming more and more obvious with each chapter that Kishimoto is rushing the manga to a finish (case in point: the events of 363) and either just doesn't give a damn anymore or, like what happened with Toriyama and Dragonball, is sick of Naruto and is throwing out more and more implausible happenings in hopes of turning off the fanbase so he can put the manga to an end (which would be truly ironic, given how Toriyama & Dragonball were major inspirations for Kishimoto).

Plus, he ruined Kabuto. I will never forgive him for ruining Kabuto.

A-FUCKING MEN. Especially since there's a decent amount of evidence (like the header for chapter 291, the way he set up chapter 343 to make Kabuto look like Oro's attacker--which makes no sense in light of chapter 356--the fact that Kabuto himself said Orochimaru was not dead in 346, so on and so forth) that Kishimoto essentially pulled "Kabumaru" out of his ass at the last minute, not giving a damn that he was blatantly contradicting his own recent chapters and wasting the last five years of Kabuto's character. Which just makes the whole damn situation even worse, IMO.
