What IS a grown-up hobby though? Like...wine tasting? Why can't you have your wine and cheese whilst reading fanfic? I'll never get this line of thinking. Enjoying TV and movies is pretty much a universal thing and there are very few people who would tell you THAT'S childish, yet if you're incredibly invested in the characters and the worlds they take place in and want to be involved in creating or engaging in new content for those things its somehow silly? I just...don't get it. (The same goes for anime, games, etc, though some people do find those childish. Don't ask me why though.)

And even if it IS silly, what's wrong with that? *shrugs*
