I like social justice.

SJ warriors on the other hand... sometimes they're right and sometimes they're completely off, but they're SJ warriors for a reason: they make everything into a personal war whether it's wise to go to that extreme or not.

it's usually just arguing for the sake of arguing as opposed to arguing to open a dialogue or do anything even remotely worth anyone's time.

Same. I frequent a lot of SJ focused communities but it can get pretty frustrating sometimes. I am disabled, part of my condition causes cognitive impairment, so I don't always phrase things perfectly. I've tried to explain that to someone before and been told to STFU, that my disability didn't matter, that it was just an excuse, and probably not even real. -_-

And I have found that too frequently, the people who are the most vocal also fail the hardest in certain areas, but good freaking luck trying to get that through to them.

One would think, but there are unfortunately a good few that use it as an excuse to be a total douchecanoe while thinking they're a good person. And some of them later turn out to be horrible people in regards to the stuff they're fighting for -- thinking of GNN back on LJ here.

I'm really sorry about that. I've basically had almost the exact same thing happen to me, and it's incredibly frustrating. I don't understand how they can say they're defending you and others like you, and then turn around and use the very thing they say they're trying to defend against you in a derogatory way. It's so disgusting and hypocritical and a lot of them don't even realize they're doing it.

Go get a life and stop chasing people. I don't know fuchsia_screams except from here, but what I know is that here she acts like a decent human being and the people who insist on harassing her about the past don't.

I'm not sure what YOU would call sending me messages like, "hey lol did your best friend kill herself because she figured out what a piece of shit you are?", then. I would love to see you define what you think bullying is, if that example isn't ~bad~ enough for you.

Because everybody knows it's totally okay to bully/harass/trigger/stalk/insult someone as long as you think, or have been told, that they've done the same thing to someone else.

Also, if you're a fan of social justice (bad phrasing, I know, but I couldn't think of a better one), get used to occasionally being called a SJW. Don't let it annoy you too much or push you into actual SJWing.
