My major problem with SJWs is the hypocrisy. Their general thing seems to be 'No one should be allowed to police anyone else's identity... unless it's us and we don't like you.' I have literally seen some groups go into a frothing rage at someone who told a POC that they don't look that dark... and then turn right around and tell someone else that they 'look white'.

Also, apparently it's derailing to post using an animal icon in a rape thread because if you do, you must be a furry and rape animals.

Also, why do people thing that all furries are zoophiles/have sex/want to have sex with animals?

There is a disproportionate amount of porn in the furry fandom, yes, but there's also a huge section of it that's perfectly innocent and non-sexual at all.

Heck, I'm not even in the fandom, I just know from taking a peek at them every now and then.

They're usually sarcastic (like in this case). It took me a while to catch on, but they parody trolls with their over-the-top comments, they don't really mean it seriously.

OMG YES, THIS. I have seen almost literally this EXACT same thing. I remember being told by some SJW that l that was being abusive and flaunting my "white privilege" for mentioning my non-abusive parents in a post during a thread where the main topic was parental abuse. When I informed this SJW that a) being from Canada does not mean that I'm white, and b) not having been abused by my parents doesn't mean I've never been abused, she completely turned it around and said, "Well, you don't have any right to be offended, because I didn't actually SAY you had white privilege, I said you were ACTING like you were white and had white privilege". ..What? Is there a "white" way to act? Is there a "PoC" way to act, for that matter? How can you tell somebody's race over the Internet unless they tell you? I was beyond offended by her assertion that she could tell we had white privilege, and when I mentioned this to her, she completely denied even the remotest possibility of the validity of me being offended.

In other words, it's totally okay for you to be offended, and offend other people, on someone's behalf (even if that person tells you themselves that they aren't offended and not to speak for them), but it's NOT okay for that person to then get offended at something offensive YOU say. (But these rules only apply if you're a SJW, which means you're just trying to ~do the right thing~, so it doesn't really count if you hurt someone while trying to defend someone else!)

At that point, you might have to drop the Atom Bomb of Indisputable Fact on them. That's such a tempting time to do it.

That's actually something that bothers me a LOT about SJWs - the fact that you have to go out of your way to prove how much of an underprivileged minority you are before you're even ALLOWED to have an opinion. Before joining in on a conversation about LGBT rights, you have to prove that you're LGBT. If you want to NOT be called out for having white privilege, then you have to prove that you're a PoC. It's disgusting, it's inappropriate, it's turning minority issues into a fucking contest, and it's basically telling people that they are nothing more than the sum of their underprivileged minority parts. It's telling us, "You are nothing of worth other than the PoC/LGBT/survivor parts of you that make you useful for our cause". People are more than their race, their sexuality, their gender, or their survivors status. It's so disgusting and hypocritical that these people can say that they're fighting to equalize rights for these minorities, but they do the exact same thing - break them down by class/gender/race/sexuality and make them nothing more than that.

What you say makes sense; you explain yourself very well. We've all been dogpiled, though.

The "atom bomb" I was referring to is to point out to the SJW that you know all of the stuff they're saying is just a distraction. A distraction for people who feel that the world is too big, too mean, too intolerant, and that social justice is too vast a job, one they don't even know how to fathom starting. So they turn inwards to their world (fandom) and bitch out each other, feeling like they've made a change.

I suggest trying not to use it until you absolutely, positively have to because it'd be so easy to get cruel with it. But if it comes down to you facing an SJW that's gotten to harassment level, go ahead and tell them (with outrageous presumption) that they feel they have very little control in their life which is why they appointed themselves police in their safe virtual fandom world so they could play "I'm saving the world" because it's easier than actually making a change and because they feel nobody on the outside would listen and they'd ultimately fail in an actual challenge and yeah, these things are problems in the real world, and there are monsters like Rush Limbaugh, Fred Phelps, the KKK, Skinheads, and various law makers and religious/political/nation leaders spewing hate and oppressing people, and what are you doing about it? Everything you can, which is not much, in fact, you 're probably turning people off to the cause. (If I ever use that, I plan on ending with "I can't wait to see what you come back at me with for shining this big spotlight on this truth. It probably won't be pretty, but you know what, I'll preemptively roll over and say "I am shot; you win", like a good NPC in your virtual distraction.")

P.S: Note how in this thread, though there are people who believe in social justice, there are no SJWs? That's because SJWs are cowards at heart. They look for easy targets, they get into groups and dogpile, they hide behind anon to name call, and when people (like in this thread) logically point out that name calling and being mean on the internet is mean and hateful, not a one comes in to defend the "be mean to people" strategy. It's not because they haven't read this. It's because the ones who use it are cowards who are utterly useless to the cause they claim to be fighting for.

Completely, 100% agree with this assessment. I'd often wondered in the past why there were so few SJWs on FandomSecrets (especially compared to PostSecret and other similar wank-based groups), and then I realized: the difference is that, on F!S, people are allowed to post anonymously, which means that nobody is afraid of standing up to/arguing back against SJWs. I think SJWs actively stay away from this community because, unlike most comms, nobody here is afraid to argue with them, lest they end up being dogpiled, bullied, harassed, stalked, insulted, and triggered (ironically). You pretty much hit the nail on the head.
