That's my feeling. I (a straight female) think that purely by aesthetic standards, penises are far more attractive than vaginas. Vaginas are ugly to me. And no, that doesn't mean I hate being female, or even hate my own vagina, it's just that if someone said "you have to pick a set of genitalia to stare at all day" (and no, I don't know the situation in which that would happen), I'd rather look at a penis. They're, just, I don't know, nicer to look at, to me.

What I find kind of odd is that almost everyone I know, including straight women, are like "oh, penises are so ugly, vaginas are such beautiful works of art". The only people I've ever found that agree with me are gay men, which makes sense obviously but I'd think most straight women would find penises more attractive as well, but that isn't the case with the ones I know.

Oh, please. I've heard many men try to justify the disproportionate showing of female frontal nudity to male frontal nudity in the media with "But penises look gross!" Do all these guys subconsciously hate men?

I'm the anon you referenced, and yes, I'm not attracted to women at all. I do indeed like femmeslash. Not as much as m/m, and I don't usually read explicit femmeslash (though I have done so on a few occasions), but I read and enjoy it, and much prefer it to het.
