Tangentially, I've always been curious what the SJ parts of the fandom would have to say about Castiel if he did have a female vessel (and miraculously survived and had the same story). There's already some pretty blatant double standards in how the narrative treats Cas as opposed to the Winchesters. Plus, if was female her relationship (even if it wasn't canon) would have some pretty unfortunate implications.
